An eSIM is like a normal SIM, except that it is already electronically built into your device and only needs to be activated. After activation, you use the eSIM for your data volume and continue to use the physically built-in SIM for making phone calls.

Here are some of the many ways it makes sense to use an eSIM:

• Benefit from a cheap, local data tariff when you travel and save yourself the expensive roaming charges of your provider
• Use eSIM for data volume and keep your current tariff for calls.
• You can use a hotspot to allow other devices to use your eSIM data volume

The majority of current smartphones and tablets support eSIM. A complete list of eSIM-enabled devices can be found here. In addition, the following conditions must be met: Roaming must be activated on your device and there must be no SIM lock.

1. Buy an eSIM data plan on our website.
2. Receive the eSIM QR code via email.
3. Set up your eSIM profile as follows:

• Go to your device's [Settings] > [Cellular or Mobile Data] > [Add Cellular Plan].
• Scan the QR code provided via email.
• Tap [Add mobile plan].
• Select [Secondary] Label and change the name to “eSIM”.
• Select the option for “Use eSIM for cellular data only” and tap [Next].
• Select the option for “Use primary as preferred line” and tap [Done].
• Check that the APN name matches the eSIM order: Tap eSIM > [Cellular data network] > [APN].

3. Set up your eSIM profile as follows:

• On your device, go to [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [Mobile network].
• Tap “Download a SIM instead?” > Download your SIM > Tap [Next].
• Scan the QR code provided via email.
• Tap [Download] and [Done].
• Check if the APN name matches the eSIM order: Tap eSIM, then tap [Advanced] > Tap [Access Point Names] > [APN].

• 4G/5G LTE service is available in most countries and is being offered in more and more countries.

• Only the data service is available.

• Dual SIM on iPhone gives you the option to have separate voice/SMS and data plans. At this stage, only cellular data is available on our eSIM platform, so after scanning a QR code to add the eSIM, please mark it as "Secondary" on the Cellular Plan Identifications page, then select "Use [Secondary] for cellular data only" on the Default Line page. A small pop-up window "Uncertified cellular plan" will appear, just click "OK". For more questions about Dual SIM, please refer to the official document on Apple website: Apple Dual SIM Support.

• Yes, please make sure data roaming is enabled. Please go to Settings > Cellular and turn on Data Roaming. Also, please remember to turn it off after use.

• You can use your phone's eSIM wipe feature.

• You will then receive an email with your QR code. Please check your spam emails if you haven't received it within 1 minute.

• The actual usage period of some data plans may start when you first connect your eSIM. This is described in the package information.

• For some plans, you can see your data usage in the order, for other orders, you cannot see your data usage. You can check how much cellular data you are using on your iPhone under [Settings - Cellular].

• Check your email or contact us.

• Yes, your physical SIM card can still be used. We recommend disabling data roaming and enabling WiFi Calling.
